Glavine was a good hitter. Maddux was terrible. Maybe the best bunter I've ever seen though.

Here's the beautiful thing though about missing out on everything. It's anywhere now. I got to watch the famous Lyndon Johnson presidential ad showing the little girl and the nuclear bomb in class. It's incredible what the internet has brought.

So true about Maddux and bunting. He showed a little emotion on the mound now and then but if he was unable to move a runner over at the plate he went full on tourettes. Classic.

Couldn't even make it past the 2nd paragraph. These damage control statements from lawyers are pathetic imo. Get in front of the camera and don't read from a piece of paper and say you're an idiot and that your sorry. Then get out of hiding and make restitution to the fans who he conned. Then you might be a respectable player again some day. He'll still have baggage for the rest of his life, but man up already.

Why can't he just come out and say he did it and offer no excuse? He tried to minimize it by saying he only did it late and to help recover from an injury. I'm sorry, I don't believe it one bit. It made everything else he said in his statement worthless imo.
