Saban to Cleveland?

It's nice to have a coach that every NFL team and high profile college program wants, but who loves Bama so much that he turns every one of them down.

If the constant message board rumors are right about the former, thrn the latter must be true as well.

Don't kid yourself. Saban doesn't love Bama. He loves the money and the ego stroke. Any coach that would leave LSU and then hop right back on board with a SEC rival doesn't love any place. That is where delusional fans think/hope/pray that a coach "loves" their school and can't fathom that he would ever leave.

So much this. Saban had no emotional connection to Alabama until the money came pouring in. Now he "loves" them? Give me a break.

This is so naive...I can't even...Why would a mid 50's Big Ten guy who coached at a big rival before coming to the program love Alabama so much?

Because they pay him $4M a year plus incentives.

There was an article out there with this same speculation. He failed in Miami, so it has to be in the back of his mind and somewhat troubling that he couldn't win in the NFL. There is also speculation that Texas is going to "go all in" for Saban....as he owns property there. :)

He also owns property in Red Stick luoisiana...
or at least he was part of a large group that owned some large properties.

Rather then kick in a few million to buyout Dooley and pay a so called proven winner, Haslam paid a billion for the Browns and will give Satan $10 mill a year to coach.

Browns fixed + Bama without Satan = WIN-WIN!!!

It is being reported on local TV news here in AL that the Browns are going after Saban. But of course you can't believe everything that is reported today by the media/bloggers. Just look at Fox News.

Saban could put this rumor to bed in 5 seconds by just telling his players and the media that he is not interested in taking another coaching job. Saban is a man of honor, and it's not like he has a history of lying about taking differen...
