Well, he had a natty and two SEC's in his 4 years there. As good as, or better, than all followers that spent even quite a few years there. He's pretty well entrenched in the coaching ranks there.
The thing I never got is why he bailed to Miami after only 4 years at LSU. LSU under Saban long term would have been just as ferocious as he made Bama. especially considering how successful they even were after he left. Most true LSU loyalists are still mad about that.
