He doesn’t owe you a thing and if you gave money to his dad only hoping that he’d win us a football, you’re a sick person and deserve disappointment. The Vol Nation collectively helped his sick father with his bills and son Salter pays us back with actions like this?
Wonder what his father is saying to him?
My gosh. It's not even July yet and he's done enough bad to get tossed.
Wonder how he's going to market his image now?
How about selling airline tickets from Tennessee to Texas.
Note - It has never ceased to amaze me how a player could be released from a school for unacceptable behaviour and yet have a group of other schools chasing and clamoring over him.
He does not need help... I hate this narrative.. he’s smoking weed !
Hate it for the kid with all the issues with his dad. But good Lord, you just threw away a prime opportunity in life, for something so stupid. I hope he learns from this
Sorry it did not work out for him here. I hope his parents can use the experience to push a change in behavior.Well when weed causes one to lose sight of the ultimate goal then yes weed is a problem. It's harmless when used occasionally or recreationally. I assure you only 1 person in the family does it and it's not the mom, dad, sisters, nor younger brother. Hell the mom doesn't even drink. So the actions shown in Knoxville don't start at home. It isn't condoned. We are extremely disappointed in how things transpired and more so after the support given to Ken during his lengthy hospital stay. Hopefully this is a wake up call but with the amount of interest already shown it may not be as big of one as we would like.
Care to give us any insight into who has already shown interest?Well when weed causes one to lose sight of the ultimate goal then yes weed is a problem. Even if weed was legal, he still is underage and he still is coming off being reinstated. He should have been on best behavior after the reinistallation. It shows a bad character flaw, one that hopefully gets sorted out for his sake.
I wish him the best and hope he learns from this and has a successful life.
I really don’t care if these guys smoke or drink. I only care if they allow it to hurt themselves or others around them. In Salter’s case he was hurting himself, because for right or wrong weed is illegal in the State of Tennessee. Not only did he engage in possession he also did it in 2 situations that are also considered illegal. Terrible judgement from this guy. I hate that he did what he did, but you really don’t give the School much of a choice during your first 6 months on campus. The weed test isn't a test for weed. It's a test for control and maturity.

I agree. He was only arrested because he tried to ditch the weed. If he was honest with the cop we might not have ever heard about it and he would still be on the team.No surprise there, but don’t be dumb about it . He was overtly stupid 2 times and one of the times just 3 weeks after he was reinstated.
