Your attempt in being so adamant that he is not coming to UT is your obvious envy that has resulted from us stealing your recruiting coordinator and more than likely several of your recruits...post with a little more sense. Unless you can see the future or you picked up a crystal ball from wal-mart while you were clothes shopping, your statement is asinine at best.

What makes you think that? Is it because South Carolina is not in the mix? We are in his top 3 and getting a visit in January. Sounds like our chances are pretty good.

Are you guys always this cocky(sry)? You have made a mockery of the rivals boards here of late, flaming every school that is in the running with you on recruits.

No...you got it wrong. UNC and USC have been his top 2 for a while and he'll probably end up at UNC. We have a small chance while UT has a smaller chance. Just being honest.

What do you expect? He's at a school who is losing recruits when nothing has changed, and they may well be going to a school that had to go through a coaching change. At least we have an excuse.

You can flame all you want about the Vols, but we all know that deep down you're hurting with the realization that USCe can't recruit the same caliber players as almost every other school in the SEC.

Reaves came here to get a ring (implying that he couldn't at your school). I know that it has little to do with your statement but...... OUCH! For some reason I can't see someone go from UT to USCe and say the same thing.

Now where were we? Oh yeah, talking about a recruit that has nothing to do with you or your school. You were saying?

The fact that he just mentioned Tennessee, Michigan and LSU when asked about some of his favorite schools totally corroborates your informed opinion.

Because Kiffin came in and is creating quite a buzz in the recriuting world, and all these other schools are worried and scared to death! They have to hang around over here to keep up with whats going on, cause they have nothing to look forward to in their on stinkhole.

No offense but where has he caused a buzz other than UT forums and some UT writers? He hasnt gotten a commitment yet and has yet to really woo anyone who wasnt already committed. Now I know his first order of business was to reaffirm the already committed etc but I am just not impressed yet. He needs to get a staff in here soon or we will be waitin for next years class to see just how good he can recruit.

His staff can't be announced until their current contracts are fulfilled. I.E. his dad and Oregeron.

And you really haven't been impressed? He's opened up recruiting on people we either never had on our list or who had written UT off. Plus, people who defected are now seriously considering coming back. I, for one, am very impressed with Kiffin. To do what he's already done in one week? That's impressive.

I wouldn't word it as impressed, but I am pleased to this point. He has done exactly what he has needed to do at this point. There is little more that he could have possibly done. So I agree with you kotheb. I am just going to reserve the word impressed for product on the field.

LSU and UT are his 2 leaders.. said facilities will play a big role in his decision.. Our facilities blow LSU's out the water dont they?
