You're going by something one of your fans "claims" he heard him say in a hospital. That is far from "the word". You're full of crap. Montgomery will take all of his visits and then decide.

As some on here remember I work at Shriners Hospital and I used to post information on TOS what I heard from talking with the players on their tour through the hospital. Today as I was standing next to Sam Montgomery he told a patient and his mom (that was wearing a Gamecock Hat) that he would be a Gamecock and the child was welcome to visit him at any time he was at the stadium....I had to keep myself from high-fiving with Sam when I heard it.....Wish I had heard more but that was the one nugget I heard for myself....

It was a kid at a hospital for crying out loud. Why wouldn't he want to make the kid feel better?? Next thing you know we will have recruits committing in front of homeless guys. If he's a Cock, then so be it, but I'm not reading much into what he told a sick kid.

Hopefully by the end of December the Bucs will be out of it and then Monte can meet all these defensive recruits...
