I’ll say this, if Chaney leaves, backing the brinks truck up for Bobo. Can’t guarantee a recruit but you get a HUGE leg up with this kid. Had 62 TD this year, #1 player in 2022. Bobo’s dad has been coaching this kid up since he was 10 years old. Families are super close.

Will be #1 player in 2022. BETTER than Lawrence

That’s a bold statement and huge shoes to fill

Chaney is paid extremely well. If his friendship was more important than that he would not have left UGA IMO. I say relax and enjoy someone else's coaching search for a change.👍

Chaney is not leaving this year. No way no how unless somebody backs up a serious Brinks truck and makes him a Godfather style offer.

He would not bail before year two which has historically been when things start to click to take on a rebuilding situation. Add do that that Arky has shown they have a quick trigger finger in getting rid of coaches. Leaving for the big seat and big payday would be one thing but leaving for another OC position after one year for an extra $100K or whatever would be unheard of. Add in that Arky has an income tax so the offer would have to be extra special to offset the loss in real $.

Hiring a position coach as a hc is a risky move. Quality man and coach though. He knows whats important and would probably build a good team given the time.

I noticed that Cade Mays received less playing time the last couple of games. Does anyone believe he may consider transferring to UT and play with his little brother? I’m not sure what Pittsman’s influence was on his recruitment but I bet it was significant. I apologize if this has been mentioned before.

Yep, can’t imagine hiring an OL coach to be HC but they are desperate. App St coach said no, probably headed to Mizzou. Pittman will grab Chaney as his OC. That’s almost a guarantee.
What was Fulmer’s position at UT before Major’s health issues ?

Chaney said he wants to retire in Knoxville...relax people. If he goes he goes, but I wouldnt bet on him leaving just because hes good friends with Pittman.
Oh, let the panic brigade march on. Just a leftover symptom of B.V.S.
