If you think this is about just the one game, I am disappointed. It is the same old song and dance. Not instant success, coach not worth keeping. whine, whine, whine. Doesn't matter what sport.

An NCAA bid is in jeopardy? Do you actually believe that or does pretending that the sky is falling somehow make you feel better?

They're 17-7, 7-4 in conference. No bad losses from an RPI standpoint. After Texas A&M, Arkansas is the only game remaining that is even close to in doubt. So at worst, they'll finish 20-9 in the regular season, will likely be 1-1 in the SECT which easily gets them in at 21-10.

Is it where we want them to be? Of course not. But everyone playing a key role is back next year, other than Lou Brown. They get Zay Green back, she'll play a huge role. Key and Horston will have a year to improve.

Well, a few points. The season isn’t over. Lady Vols won the National Championship with ten losses. Realistically, four years before close to elite status. Several players and Harper have the flu....Rennia still recovering. When I have the flu, I can’t even remember my name.

The question points to the abundance of negativity towards coach with this being her first year at the helm. There are probably more fans on her side than not at this point, however, on VN she’s already taking a lot of heat. Her ability to coach is scrutinized already, some even stating they wanted another coach.

Are you the UConn fan? Not complaining, just wondering.....I'm too drained by our pitiful performance last night to be upset at any posters.....Maybe later I'll be up set with you, but not tonight.

Only to people who don't understand it. I will explain it to you. People who don't understand a process; those who think it is a quick fix, are already being very critical of the new coach; as if KJH has failed as the LV coach.

They do not see she has moved the needle. While that movement is small, it will become exponentially greater as she;
1) Changes the culture
2) Strengthens players physical and mental fundamentals
3) Acquires a more balanced roster.
3) Acquires players more suited to her style of play.

All these things require time and that is the one thing some posters are not giving her, time. They are calling her a failure before she has failed.

Turnovers, lack of defense, no energy, and no urgency...all of these can be addressed in practice, calling a time out during the game, half time, and simply moving a player to the bench who keeps doing things wrong. She mentions all of these things in her interviews, but I have not seen anything changing. We are almost always the tallest team on the court, and yet we are getting beat inside & outside. It is so tough to sit and watch her & this team, and have to realize the days of Pat Summitt are gone like the days of Peyton Manning are gone in football. With all the facilities, the fan base, and all the people pulling so hard for these athletes, they just seem so uninspired as a Lady Vols. I wish someone would get excited on that bench, and sit some people who are not performing! We are over 2/3's way through the season and looks like we have not figured out things.

UConn is my team. But I like several teams. Like I've explained before. I live in SC so I follow the gamecocks. I dislike ND and I follow them. I respect Kim Mulkey, so I follow them. I had to retire when my wife had a stroke and i'm not able to get out a lot so I read a lot, study a lot and follow WBB. I know some posters here are going to dislike me because I prefer a team in blue. I just chalk that up to people being people.
