San Francisco's glitzy hotels have been plunged into massive debt following a dramatic drop off in tourism to the Golden Gate City.

The Californian city's two biggest hotels, the Hilton Parc 55 and Hilton San Francisco Union Square, have lost a combined $1 Billion in value, according to the Kroll Bond Rating Agency.

Their worth is now $553.8 million.


Meanwhile, the delinquency rate among commercial mortgage-backed security loans for the sector jumped to 41.6 percent in June from 5.7 percent the same time last year, according to data from real estate analytics firm Trepp.

Saw a story that Musk has announced that X is moving to Texas now. And some of the utter brilliance of San Franciscan politicians was displayed as some pronounced "Good riddance" and how happy they were he is taking the company out of San Franciso/CA.

Now, I could understand the sentiment if it was a sloppy heavy metal processor or some other nefarious business polluting the environment, but are they really missing the picture this badly?

We are in Collierville so we can't go any further East or South.

Plans are being made to get out of Shelby County. Weve sold (or had a tornado take) all rental property except for a liquor store building in the past couple of years. Downsized the home.
