Boston Judge Who Blocked Migrant's ICE Arrest And Let Him Slip Out The Back Door Is Hit With New Charges​

A Massachusetts judge has been slapped with fresh charges after she was accused helping a twice-deported illegal immigrant evade Immigration and Customs Enforcement in 2018.

Judge Shelley Joseph, now assigned to Boston Municipal Court, is under fire again six years after she allegedly allowed Jose Medina-Perez to walk out a back door of the Newton District Courthouse to avoid getting arrested by the ICE agents on duty.

In a scathing 112-page report, the state's Commission on Judicial Conduct accused Joseph of 'willful judicial misconduct' and bringing 'disrepute' to the court system.


While these aren't criminal charges, the commission did ask the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court to appoint a hearing officer - likely a retired judge - to 'preside over a public hearing'.

At this hearing, which will take place 30 to 60 days from now, Joseph could lose her $207,855 a year job as a judge.

San Diego County will soon vote on a resolution to block all county cooperation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, including letting them know about the release of criminal illegal immigrants -- coming just weeks before the Trump administration is expected to launch a historic deportation campaign.

The resolution would go further than the state’s sanctuary law, which generally limits law enforcement's cooperation with ICE, and represents a hardline stance against all cooperation with federal immigration enforcement.

The new resolution, which will see a vote on December 10 as part of the county’s "commitment to social justice and inclusion," will say that the county will not provide assistance or cooperation to ICE "including by giving ICE agents access to individuals or allowing them to use County facilities for investigative interviews or other purposes, expending County time or resources responding to ICE inquiries or communicating with ICE regarding individuals’ incarceration status or release dates, or otherwise participating in any civil immigration enforcement activities."

You need to set an example and Colorado on day one would be a good place to start.

For EVERY state that has a major "sanctuary city' . Cut federal funding to that state 100%. Zero federal dollars for any reason...until they start enforcing federal law regarding ICE and illegal aliens. The people of each state would absolutely riot and replace the local governments in these cities very quickly when their way of life was severely impacted by lack of funds.

But the operators of the Queens ranch say there is little they can do as the immigrants are flowing in from an overcrowded nearby shelter and the property has no fence, gate or security. In fact, they say that it’s the MTA that should do more, as a major public institution.
