It is worse. And it is pretty much 100% on Trump. He has done absolutely NOTHING since the beginning of his run for president to be conciliatory. He has done the exact opposite, to the glee of the Trumpers; and then they complain about the divisiveness. SMDH

You’re still just butt hurt that the GOP threw out their traditional playbook and choose a weak traditional candidate (there were lots of choices!) that would have allowed Hills to cruise to victory. The primary was rigged. With a weak traditional GOP candidate she wouldn’t even have to campaign.

For you, it’s still Hillary Hillary Hillary! You may have started a Bernie supporter don’t remember. But you were on the Hills Train in Nov 2016.

“It’s Trump” because he’s about the only GOP candidate that could get the voter turnout to win. And he did. I didn’t think he could do it. But he did.

Absolutely. It's all about character. Look back over the years of trump and you will find one nasty individual. One thing the trump brigade seems to ignore is why is he sucking up to slimy characters like Kim and Putin? Why does he want his own military parade? Why does he want a jacket full of medals so he can be like Kim? Where is his wall the Mexicans are going to pay for? Why is he so opposed to the 1st amendment?
Last but not least, a vast majority of the trump supporters are the 2nd amendment, white evangelical so called freedom lovers. Now ask yourself, would you let him around your daughter? I know I certainly would not. It's all about character and having good morals. Your president lacks both.

You have those that offer a service and those that are customers for that service. In this case, there is outrage about the person that offers a service refusing that service to another over political differences. This seems to be an outrage to some. Yet, when the shoe is on the other foot and it is the customers seeming to not do business with someone that offers a service because of political differences, the very people that were outraged by this owners actions have no issue with customers boycotting NFL games...

Seems to me the sanctimonious outrage is a bipartisan problem. Personally, I don't agree with Ben and Jerry's political philosophies, but I still buy their stuff. If I had to line up lock and step with every actor, musician or athlete, I wouldn't be able to watch anything on TV or enjoy any concert or enjoy any sports.

People (on both the right and the left) need to get over themselves and learn how to deal with people they may not agree with in a more civil manner.

Identity politics will be what destroys us. When you start trying to appeal to people based on their differences (the color of their skin, who they have sex with, where they come from, how much money they have, etc.), and then try to exploit it, you create even bigger differences. Differences divide.

In general, I agree and am opposed to identity politics. But let's be honest, Trump has outdone Obama in identity politics ten-fold, if not a hundred-fold. He's done it with Hispanics, he's done it with blacks, he's done it Muslims, he's done it with women.

I’d say he’s just better at it. It isn’t clear to me Barry Hussein was really very good at anything. Trump is indeed beating him at his own game here too.

Take illegal immigrants and the whole child separation thing. Neither side wants to solve it. Its worth more as a talking point in the buttons it pushes in the two bases.

The biggest problem that you guys have against Trump is that he fights back. He is a different kind of politician for the left to deal with. You guys are dirty street fighters who are used to bullying politicians like Romney and McCain who fight by Marquis of Queensbury rules while you guys kick them in the nuts.

Trump, on the other hand, has someone slide in behind you on their hands and knees, and pushes you over backwards. Or, he points with one hand up in the sky and says "look!", and then hits you with the other hand. Or, he pulls the chair out from under you as you get ready to sit down. He's giving you a dose of your own medicine, and you don't like how it tastes. I find him to be hilarious in dealing with your side.


I said on here a long time ago that you need to not fight with Trump because he enjoys it, and you will come out of it bloodied. It's like wrestling with a pig. You both get muddy, but the pig enjoys it.

To the general populace, the liberals, the media, the Democratic party establishment, the Republican party establishment, the Justice Dept, the FBI, etc. all look worse after fighting with Trump. He looks the same as he did coming in.

this is spot-on 100% correct. Trump Exploits the divisions within the country. It's how he won. Not only that, but the Entertainer in him causes him to exploit and increase those divides. He is the single most destructive force to ever exist in American politics at this level. His ouster from Office cannot possibly come soon enough.
