Don't you find it interesting that she can't come up with a better answer than this? If it doesn't matter, maybe she should've said that? Personally, I think it matters that our elected leaders do read a newspaper or magazine every once in awhile. Why didn't she just say TIME, Newsweek, or... PEOPLE?? She couldn't say anything. This woman is not too bright.

I read, not daily but I know which ones I read. There are newspapers in Alaska.

When I was going through the Patrol Academy one of the things we had to list out on the questionaire was our local newspapers.

I will be honest, I did not have a clue what the newspapers were.

So that makes me a bad trooper?

So you just expect her to lie? There is a wide swath of people who no longer read old media like newspapers and mags. I sure don't.

By all accounts, she has been successful at everything she has attempted including but not limited to:
* College Degree
* Athlete
* Beauty Queen
* Councilwoman
* Mayor
* Governor
* Wife
* Mother

For someone not to bright, she is pretty accomplished. BTW, how does your resume/brilliance stack up?

Probably not, but then you're not running for VP. A candidate for VP should be able to name ONE newspaper. Just ONE.

I'm not running to be a heartbeat away from the presidency. That said: I'd be willing to bet that I'm smarter than Sarah Palin. Oh, and I've been successful at pretty much everything I've ever attempted, too. Big deal.
