Hes a high 4*. He (perlotte) got dropped when it was known he was decommiting from ugaYes .... this guy is a low 4/high 3 star .... If I had to guess, I would say the problem here is he wants some high 4 star treatment. We can always find mercenary db's like this in the portal.
I'm not arguing this. He currently has a 247 sports Composite rating of .9005 and he is the #339 player in the country on 247 sports Composite player rankings. That's about as low you get while still being a 4 star. He is not currently a high 4 star recruit.Hes a high 4*. He got dropped when it was known he was decommiting from uga
my bad, I thought this way the perlotte thread lol. Yea konanbanny has been a low 4*. Got the threads mixed upI'm not arguing this. Like I said, I'm not arguing anything. I'm just telling you where he is on the most widely recognized service.
I wonder if we’ve pumped the brakes on him a bit as well? Running out of space quick and in on some big names. This kid looks good but he was always going to be a project. My point exactly. I am all about NIL, but IMO if that's the deciding factor - and when he's been here upwards of 10 times and there literally once, 2 weeks before NSD, it clearly is - then we don't want him.
-VQOnis Konanbanny will be one we continue to keep an eye on over the weekend. Will he show up somewhere else for a visit or does he end up picking between Florida and Tennessee as he told us was the plan earlier in the week? The Gators gave him plenty to think about during his official visit last weekend, but communication with Tennessee has picked back up and been positive over the last few days. Konanbanny enjoys the process, so who knows where this one will end up going, but the Vols are working to keep him in the class and have strong relationships here.
I get it but then don't commit till you're truly committedIt’s happening to every recruiting class.
Agents are trying to turn up the leverage to get better offers. It’s not always just the amount of money but could be the years, the payout schedule, the terms around it etc
Some people seem to be getting more and more focused on optimizing everything they can as the market has gotten more sophisticated.
I get it but then don't commit till you're truly committed
Yet in basketball recruits rarely flip once they make their commitment public. Do the offers only change for football recruits and not basketball recruits? Odd the process is so different between the 2 sports.Committed when the options were what they were at that time. If information changes and someone begins offering something different, that’s a new variable that logical and responsible people would consider and explore.
This is what it’s like recruiting with the big boys.
