He did a great job at Memphis, which would seem to be a tougher challenge than maintaining the bar at VT. I am not sure what happened.

Just checked the Twitter and I agree I think he enjoys the fuss. To each his own I guess, wouldn't be my way but its a once in a lifetime thing so hope it works out for him..
