Yep they can't stand the fact we are on a roll. Bowl Cut & his bagman Man$ell are the one's to blame for the leak. Hopefully TID knows that and plays them like a fiddle.

This isn't a shot at you, but I've never understood this logic.

Guy won't commit 7 months before early NSD in the middle of a pandemic when you can't take visits? What a diva.

Give them a second. Or a month or two. Idk.

The top players can wait until December and teams will make a spot for them regardless. I really do not like taking kids this early anyway due to changes for both players and teams in the next six months. If a kid is not going to take visits in the fall then I would take him. But that is probably not going to be the case.

Agree with you 100%. As soon as things open up there's going to be a mad rush on kids visiting all over the country. It will be unlike we've ever seen.

that's not how it works. with the kids we've taken committments from the past 2 weeks or so, they have spots. they have spots at pretty much anywhere they want to go if they say "yes".

so when they say 'yes'.....you take it.

it doesn't matter where those kids commit, you're gonna have to keep recruiting them no matter what anyway. so why not be the leader in the clubhouse vs. sitting at the bar in the clubhouse, hoping the guys sitll on the course fail? pressure is on them.

and if by some chance they eagle 18 from the fairway to win.............so be it. just not in the cards.

taking visits is one thing. and i would imagine everyone expects that to be the case. but there'll be kids that visit here, both committed here, committed elsewhere and uncommitted..

it's not really something anyone can control. AP said this morning on swain he almost expects them to extend the dead period thru the summer.............and if htat happens, visits would be at a premium since most of the HS seasons will be going (hopefully anyway).....

lot's of stuff in play. all you can do is put the best available foot forward until it changes again. we've' done that, and i have no doubt we'll continue to do that.
