'21 SC DT Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins (uga commit)

That’s BS.

Recruits go to certain schools that puts them in the best position to win and get ready for the NFL

It’s not the fans fault that Pruitt is struggling his third year on the job.
It's not BS. We all knew our program was in bad shape. And sure, Pruitt is having his struggles, but hearing fans call for his head would give any recruit pause. Why pick a school where your coach could possibly be canned? Remember, we're the fanbase that brags about how we prevented the Schiano hire. Recruits today don't choose a school as much as they choose a coach. They build relationships with coaches. Why would they choose UT just to see us get rid of our coach? That doesn't excuse any of Pruitt's mistakes, but truth is truth. Calling for his head, especially when there's no chance it happens this year, does not go over well with recruits. The earliest it could happen is after next year. Even then, we'll see another UT coaching search full of dysfunction and disappointment, if it happens.

Pruitt is absolutely responsible for his mistakes, but fans are responsible for their behavior as well.

I think you should probably cry a little more. It’s not taking effect.

Why do you do this? Why is it that when people voice their frustrations you come back with things like whining? Do you not see that we are getting smoked by UF and UGA both on the field and in recruiting? I get the optimism but there is no denying that we are clearly in a distant third in the East and the gap continues to grow.

It doesn't help recruiting that a portion of the fanbase is screaming for Pruitt's head when he's only lost one game he wasn't expected to lose. The KY loss hurt, no doubt, and that sting will last for awhile, but no one really expected us to beat Georgia or Bama. Yet fans are screaming for yet another coaching change. Anyone thinking of committing here is bound to be concerned by that. The passion of the fanbase can be both a blessing and a curse.
I can get over the UGA and Bama losses. They are ahead of us and have been for a while. Kentucky game is inexcusable and continuing to play JG after that game is inexcusable. I believe everyone would be willing to drop the pitchforks if Pruitt would move on from JG.

You’re better off putting him on ignore. He never has any substance to add to anything. Just cries at everybody who aren’t 100% optimistic right now.

Why? He sure can’t coach QB’s. We may as well try to get something positive out of him.

What if we keep Weinke and either HB or Salter end up balling out next year. Or Maurer.

Will Weinke have all of the sudden become a QB whisperer?

🙄 rent free, man. I’m not trying to be a sunshine pumper but y’all make this even more insufferable.

I’ll be glad to be optimistic with the rest of you if there was an actual reason to be so.

We’ve all seen this same pattern with Dooley, Butch, and now Pruitt. They’re always the right guy at first until they start making dumb mistakes where it gets to the point it’s unfix able.

It’s not about being insufferable or being a negavol, it’s pointing out the obvious flaws with Pruitt. He’s regressing under his third year and that’s the truth.

I’m not gonna sit here and act like he isn’t but I will give him the benefit of the doubt until he gets let go, if that were to ever happen. I think some mistake my stance on a lot of things because I actually am a really nice guy, I just have an issue with toxic negativity. If I’m gonna stick around here and not have to fight off the horde every time I say something that’s my opinion, I’m just gonna have to leave my emotion & deep love for this team(s) at the door or something. I’m tired of all this fighting, man. We’re all tearing each other to ribbons.
