'21 SC DT Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins (uga commit)

It doesn't help recruiting that a portion of the fanbase is screaming for Pruitt's head when he's only lost one game he wasn't expected to lose. The KY loss hurt, no doubt, and that sting will last for awhile, but no one really expected us to beat Georgia or Bama. Yet fans are screaming for yet another coaching change. Anyone thinking of committing here is bound to be concerned by that. The passion of the fanbase can be both a blessing and a curse.
It’s more of the cumulative effect of Georgia State and BYU last year coupled with Kentucky this year, and not being competitive with UGA and Bama this year. And rather than shaking things up and seeing what you may/may not have in other kids at your most important position (where we have gotten subpar results), he stubbornly sticks with a proven commodity that will continue to yield subpar results. Any one of those things is perhaps forgiven, especially in a pandemic year, but, right or wrong, CJP is working against a snowball effect. Even myself, you typically will err on the side of caution with coaches knowing what they are doing, even I find myself questioning him, his decisions, and whether he really is cut out for the job. The honeymoon is long over and he better get things turned around, or at least prove to the fans that he isn’t afraid to try different things. The flames will only get hotter.

Rivals just posted an article, said things really soured between him and us in the past month, and that they feel he will pick Georgia now.

TENNESSEE
“Tennessee was set to land his commitment back in June but he pushed things back. The Vols stayed at or near the top for Ingram-Dawkins all summer and early in fall. Then things went South the last month. He has continued to talk to Chris Weinke, Jeremy Pruitt and the Vols, but things don’t feel the same. Pruitt decided to move on from defensive line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh and one would think the lack of a line coach will hurt them come Friday.” - Austin Price, Volquest.com

Probably a pretty good player but he was acting like a diva at times during his recruitment. I don't dislike the kid and feel that recruits should enjoy the process but he was doing way too much.
Probably doing too much but not as bad as Kamar. I don't mind kids doing things like this before they commit as long as they don't flip multiple times.

Couldn’t say it better myself. We’ve got enough head cases. They’ve even said on VQ they believe Malone will NOT be affected by the fact we don’t have a d line coach yet.
