It's October, so let's go with more of a halloween direction. Name some of the scariest films you've seen in your lifetime.

Great question....

For me Carrie 1977?

I went to see this movie. Sat in from of a bunch of girls who screamed though out the movie. Or was it me? At the end when the Hand shoots up out of the grave these girls crap my shoulders and scare the bejesus of me. I had to use my elbows on my seat to leverage myself and legs out from under the seat in front of me. Damn cold chills just thinking about that. True story!

Saw 1 was awesome. The Ring was great. I'll throw out Paranormal Activity, and The Amityville Horror

i thought it was pretty freaky

if you let your imagination run away with you it's extremely scary. i can see why people who were wanting something to pop out of the woods every little second would be dissapointed by it but that's not what the movie is about. something that you don't or can't see can be alot more scary than something that you actually see on screen.

One of the greatest sci-fi horror movies made and it scared me as a child.

Event Horizon freaked me out when I was 12 or so and watched it in the middle of an Alaskan winter (dark all the time).

Skull, The Thing freaked me out when I first saw it. I wish the xbox game they made much later had been a little better. Spent a lot of freshman year of college playing it with the roomie. It was always different who was infected...

The Exorcist scared the living crap out of me when I saw it. I was about 10 years old and when my dad told me that people could really be possessed I didn't sleep with the lights out for about 2 months.

Halloween is the best horror movie, but not the scariest.

Blair Witch scared the shiz out of me, but I was pretty little when I watched it. Haven't seen it since.

House of 1,000 Corpses just freaked me out.
