Let's see - if BS were still here we would have a 3 QB controversy instead of a 2.

Oh yeah, and another "me" player.

No thanks

True.

His side makes more sense to me though.  I didnt think he had done enough to get kicked off the team and I didnt see why Fulmer would want him to transfer.  There are other players on the team who have had more problems.

But he's a young, brash kid, and if he didnt think he was going to get to play as much, I could see him wanting to transfer.  I dont see why he would want to transfer to a small JC though unless Fulmer wouldn't release him to transfer to a division I school, which is possible.

If his side is true, it seems Fulmer damaged his reputation unfairly though.  Making it appear he was kicked off, instead of simply wanting to transfer.

Fulmer's not going to tell a kid, "Look, I want you to transfer." And then the kid says, "OK, coach."

Fulmer didn't release him to a Div 1 school, that's why he's playing for a Juco team.

Fulmer didn't damage BS's reputation. Fulmer's not the one who was fighting and skipping classes. That's like saying the Goldman family ruined OJ Simpson's reputation.

Fulmer didn't make it appear BS was kicked off. BS is the one who decided to transfer.

I thought he couldn't play for a team on UT's schedule for the next 4 years. Wouldn't that rule out UF?

He went to JUCO, so he go to whatever school he wants now.

Did you Brent S schillers know that Mr. Brent played at 3 different high schools..

But I am sure that it was all about bad coaches and he was misunderstood etc. Right, that punk has issues. He is similat to TO but with less talent, less performance, etc.

and how was Brent S supposed to beocme the starting qb at UT???? that is if you do not attend meetings and watch tape. I guess he would learn the offense by osmosis.

As we all have seen this year it also takes a damn good receiver to make a QB look so good. It's the receiver's job to run the routes, get open, reach out and make a play on the ball sometimes whatever the cost is and then keep running to get the TDs.

BS (funny initials for the topic) can say these numbers are all his and a reason UT would be better with him but if the receivers played with him the same way they did here, he'd be having to run with the ball all season and more than likely getting pummeled and knocked out for the season with injuries.
