Scott Frost fired at Nebraska

Right. He was good enough to be Belichick and Sabans OC, rebuild a Penn State program that almost got the death penalty, and make 4 playoff appearances in the NFL. But Vandy or Missouri wouldn’t take him? South Carolina and Florida would probably consider swapping their coaches straight up, and again TAMU probably would too if they could get out of that contract.

If Frost can't bring Nebraska back to even minor respectability, I'm pretty sure no one can bring them back. RIP Cornhuskers.
I was going to say exactly the same thing. If not Frost, then who? They are just going to keep making coaches millionaires for failing at this point.

Shows a fan base that sold out about 300 games in a row, that you know they deserve better and you aren’t putting up with that ****.

They have a 75k seat stadium & waiting list for season tickets cause that is all Nebraska has.

He probably wanted to stay in the sunshine state but when you have people throwing stupid money at you.... 🤷

Just really weird to not wait till Oct when that buy out drops?

I would not be shocked at all if Frost made the offer to knock down the buyout quite a bit.

As I said, he has just looked so absolutely dejected since the game in Ireland..

Even if they gave him $10 million, with what he has made in five years there he should pretty much be set for life

Walk away, kick back with some time off, then. Get an OC gig next year at $1 million/yr and try to enjoy life a little bit
