Nebraska should hire Gary Patterson and force him to hire Kendal Briles or Jeff Lebby as OC. Fat Pat's head would explode but it wouldn't take long for them to field a good team.

The Georgia Tech job will be opening in a few months and i could see GT interviewing Scott Frost.

Meyer has repeatedly said ND is his dream job. Freeman will completely flame out in 3 years, maybe less.

ND can tolerate scandal, but they cannot tolerate being irrelevant in college football. They'd hire Beelzebub if he'd get them back in the top 10.

I think Brian Kelly will fail spectacularly at LSU and be out in three seasons or less.

Kelly will fail.

And spreaking of ND tolerating scandal, Kelly had a large piece of a young man getting killed so he could get practice film........ ND whitewashed it.

ND isn't a beacon of morality.

He wasn’t detail oriented in regards to coaching. Too many observed flaws in special teams and having correct personnel in games. At UCF, he got away with that as it’s only offense in that league. In P5, you need it all, offense, defense, special teams, scouting, recruiting, strength and conditioning, adapting strategy in games. List goes on and on. He wasn’t prepared for that and didn’t learn fast enough.

I’d heard about this too. I don’t really know how, but there were some Kiffin Lexus style stories that were associated about him. I feel like someone on here linked to their board once where one of their posters was saying he was having too much fun.

Yeah, I seem to remember a post from a Huskers board about him getting hammered at a bar right by Memorial Stadium right after a game with a bunch of assistant coaches, and him leaving said bar with a coed to go up to an apartment located right above.

Not saying that isn't true, but if it is true 1) why wasn't he fired years ago and 2) why was he bought out? It isn't like he was winning at the time and they were looking for ways to keep him. If he wasn't doing basic job duties like being at practice, wasn't he breaching his contract?

I agree, but if this were Peyton Manning or Al Wilson pulling the same stuff as our head coach, I think the administration would probably do whatever they could, for as long as they could to protect one of Tennessee’s chosen sons. I think that’s what Nebraska has been doing, until Frost gave them no other choice.

Bad stories concerning lack of focus and effort on Frost's part surfacing from Nebraska now that hes gone. If true, it should be awhile before he gets another P5 job.

Scott Frost sounds like he's going through some stuff. I know this is cliche, but Saban rehabbed Sark after his downfall. If Frost has hit rock bottom, he might want to crawl to Tuscaloosa for a chance.

If the story of him being too hammered to make the in-home visit w/ the recruits entire family there is true, he’s got some major problems going on. It’s something that sounds like he needs some real help with.
