I still wouldn't say Lucky. Each team still has to win to advance. They don't pick their opponent.
I wouldn't call OSU a weak 2 seed either. Thats not being a homer, just realistic. But to each their own I suppose.

Yes. Weak 2 seed and avoiding the 3 seed were both helpful. We got another break when Summers went down, but blew our chance.

I do think we were lucky with Georgetown being upset, but I do not think OSU was a weak 2 seed.

Ohio State was never in the ball park of being a weak #2 seed. In fact, many so-called experts alleged they should have been a #1 seed.

Ohio State was a weird team to apply a seed to. I don't disagree with #2, but I wouldn't have been surprised if they were anywhere between seeds 1-4. The real travesty was Vanderbilt: a) getting a 4 seed, b) being a higher seed than us. I don't know about you guys, but in all 4 of my brackets I made last year, I had Vanderbilt losing in the first round. Murray State beating VU in the first round is NOT, I REPEAT: IS NOT, an upset.

One thing is for certain, anyone in Vegas that tried to ride Gtown to some consistent money failed miserably. This past years Hoyas team was one of the most inconsistent I have ever seen. Lose to South Florida and Rutgers, then turn around and pummel Duke.

They certainly had some good strides that gave off some false confidence, but fell flat on their face in the tourney. I was looking forward to the Gtown/UT game, which never happened.
