I like our chances more against a down UK team and a MSU team he could've already committed to than Coach K or Memphis.

I got news and it is from a really credible source.

I went fishing today with Coach Bill Chumbler. Cotton will know who I'm talking about. He coached Paducah Tilghman and Trigg Co. One of the best Coaches in KY History. He told me that UT has offered a package deal for Hopson and Edmonds. He told me Scotty will probably land at UT because he doesn't want to go where Edmonds isn't. He also said Billy G. offered him to but he didn't seem as serious because he didn't want to leave Edmonds and He loves Pearls style of play.

Coach Chumbler did tell me though that Scotty's biggest weakness is his body language and that he really needs to change that if he wants to see a lot of minutes in college.

I don't think we have a scholly to offer Edmonson. We are only holding one and that is Hopson's. I'm sure every school will allow Edmonson to walk on to get Hopson, but will Edmonson do that when he has offers at a mid major - doubt it.

Edmondson had an offer that he would walk on his first year and then his second year, he would pick up a scholly... However, this was before Daniel West committed so I don't know if this is still the case.

yeah, i don't know about edmonson. we got west so we dont really need another point guard. i hope edmonson isn't too key too hopson. i doubt he gets anything better than a walk on here

I believe Pearl develops talent just fine. I just hope he can occasionaly get a five star but maybe he doesn't worry so much about getting the one in done recruit though I'm sure he wouldn't turn one down.

Accoding to rivals we have three 5* players on the roster

the 2006 recruiting class was a top 5 class.

2008 could be top 10 if Hopson commits to us.

2009 is looking to be strong as well, with Kenny Hall already committing.
