Scotty Hopson

I am looking at my DVR, and it shows the Skills tonight, but tomorrow it doesn't have the actual game. Can someone help me out? I want to see him play, the Dunks are a cool side show, but I want to see the kid really ball.

Tommorow night on ESPN. 9 30 I believe.

And I was thinking how scary UT's lineup could be with Scotty in the mix.

You could go two bigs down low with Wayne and Crews, have Tyler play the 3, Scotty at the 2, and Ramar/JP at the point.

And with Woolridge, Jurrick, Tatum, and whoever does not start at point coming off the bench, thats a crazy good lineup IMO. Having 2 bigs down low can open up the inside/outside passing for the 3 ball (also helps in a halfcourt set), plus the 2 bigs can run. Very dangerous offense. I like it.

I know I forgot some bench players, but you guys already know. And that's just a lineup I like, i'm sure you guys have your own your drooling over.

Either way, all is not lost with losing Chris and Jujuan. ESPECIALLY if you land Hopson. Which I think Pearl will.

P.S. Thank God UT got Crews, instead of Carolina:peace2:

Rob Lewis and Hubbs seem to be sandbagging lately in their comments. They act like they know Hopson is going to commit to UT, but won't be decisive. I think they have some very inside info

What are they saying? I sure do hope they are right.

All the posts I've seen from Rob and Brent they seem to say "right now, UT is probably the favorite", but they know there's still a lot of time left. If he takes visits, you never know when another coach is going to say something that perks his interest.

Nope, he is in the next round.

What about the commentators forgetting to mention UT at first? WTF was that about?

what i was saying is he only made 2, i knew already he didnt make any in the final. Btw, that Derozans first dunk in the final was sick

Haha, he looked like he wasn't taking it very serious. Tommorow night you'll see his skills showcased in an actual game.

Hard to swallow the fact that USC is losing Mayo and getting Derozan. Not to mention the other studs they are getting.

I've been reading this message board the last couple of months but have not posted, I recently saw an interview with Scotty Hopson, they asked him what colleges he wanted to visit, Tennessee was the first he said, he did not mention mississippi state until the interviewer brought them up. Also, when he was asked what style of play he would like to be a part of in college he said a fast pace up and down style, the only team on his list of schools he was going to visit with that style of play is Tennessee. He never said he was leaning towards Tennessee, but he mentioned them first and he likes our style of play, Seeing the interview made me feel very confident we are going to have hopson next year, With Prince and Tyler Smith i believe Tennessee will be the most athletic team in college basketball, and that can lead to national titles, ask UNC or Illinois.
