How Ole Miss keeps getting these studs is beyond me, and in before someone flashes $$$$

Exactly what I was thinkin though......dollar signs. What else could explain it? Are they just THAT GOOD at recruiting? I lean towards no.....

If your specialty is defense, its a tough road to "sell against" UA with Saban there. At some point however, it seems playing time would have to kick in - although as a parent I wouldn't mind my son red-shirting and then playing sporadically as a RS Frosh for physical and mental development purposes.

It's a pretty easy sell though..rings and playing for a HOF coach...have one good year and you get noticed

Seems a little like a garbage article. Alabama can't sign all of the people they indicate are going to sign with Alabama....

It's written by Scout they are pretty good...I think it indicates the recruits interest in a school...some of them won't be able to go to Alabama and will have to go elsewhere

Speaking of money, we can offer the highest monthly per diem than any school in the country. Shouldn't this help our recruiting?

They have lots of hot southern belles who live in Oxford and therefore have nothing to do other than help "recruit".

It just makes no sense. People have said it's tough for us this year because we can't offer immediate playing time

They have a good coach

We joke a lot with the '$' replys but I would not be surprised to see Ole Miss go on probation. They are certainly not any traditional power or sacred cow and they are already on the NCAA COI's radar following the Laremy Tunsil episode.

I really like Warrior and Callaway. Both of the kids would be nice additions to our Vols. Its kinda weird, that Butch has put his best season together since arriving in Knoxville, and so far its his lowest ranked class on the recruiting trail. I know that having more depth now slows it down a bit, and not having a strong instate class hurts too. Its going to be interesting to see how Butch and his staff wraps this class up. Lets just hope for a big NSD. Thoughts?

They have nice facilities and it's a great campus. I think that school has a real chance to compete for years with Bama for the west. They have really close access to Louisiana and Texas which is big. Plus the bag man carries unlimited amounts of $$$. I want Ole Miss to be good cause Freeze is going on 3 years in a row of beating Saban, he just needs to win the ref of the games. Anyone but Bama coming out of the west is good

It's funny. Some people love to cheer for the SEC, so I guess it's acceptable to them if they keep getting these kind of great 5* recruits and we don't.

Well we have several still stuck with the loser mentality (see vandy)that they ride the coat tails of others. Forget being last and satisfied with mediocrity I want to be #1.....not a chief rival
