nope and I haven't seen one thing that makes me think that we are even in it for Simmons..I'd take Woods now..take a chance on losing Bailey and hope we can get Kongbo back on NSD

I think we get Warrior, Brown and Callaway...not Kongbo or Woods.

I'm not sure about the logic here. Wouldn't selling Bama's success just steer players to Bama? They're after most of the same players after all.

Smart can tell in-state kids that are considering Bama that he's going to recreate Bama's model for success at UGA-- so they can stay home and win championships. Might not work, but I bet he can sell it the first year.

Bama can't take everybody. They'll be steering some recruits away, so Smart could benefit from that, too.

Unfortunately, IDT we get Kongbo... but I thought we were very close on Woods. No?

Brothas ain't attracted to the same type of women as white dudes. So unless there are a bunch of Kim Kardashian look alikes at Oxford, I doubt the typical blond hair Beckys at Ole Miss are any better than any other southern college town.

The women angle at Oxford is overhyped. If a brotha is picking a school because of the women, he's going to schools located in Atlanta, Houston, or Miami. I promise you he ain't going to Oxford, Mississippi.

A friend of mine who played at Ole Miss in the early 90's said the women at Oxford made the brothers feel right at home.

In terms of the numbers, it kinda has to be... Like I said, even if EVERY single woman in Oxford and EVERY single coed at Ole Miss is attractive (which is highly unlikely in a state with the highest rate of obesity in the country per CBS.com at 35.4%), you're still not talking about very many women here - probably around 20,000 or so. I think it's a case of a small group of young women who make themselves highly visible standing out in a very small place. The big fish in a small pond principle, if you will.

No, it isn't. You've never been there. I can tell.

Ole Miss chicks are the real deal. I encourage you to attend a home game in Oxford some time. You'll see the light.

I think he might be our next commit..he visited GT and has a WVU official next weekend..hope we don't slow play him and lose him

That's what I thought. Since Scott has recruited him for a while, I think he's a take. But I agree-- he's got options and probably won't wait till NSD.

Exactly what I was thinkin though......dollar signs. What else could explain it? Are they just THAT GOOD at recruiting? I lean towards no.....

OM is dirty plain and simple. When you hire Sean Patterson as recruiting coordinator and pay him mid six figures then shortly afterwards his 5 star QB little bro commits...yeah they are dirty since colleges can't pay players beyond the stipend but they can indirectly pay Patterson to play for them by padding his brothers salary to pay him indirectly.
