Intimidation shouldn't concern you as much as boredom. You're talking about a subject about which no one here cares and doing mental gymnastics to make some odd argument about SD being preferable to Knoxville yadda yadda yadda.

I know a Persian guy in Halls who has two that he keeps indoors for five months, and replants every late Spring. They're getting kinda big.
