So Payton is trying to recruit Bill Parcells to be the interim head coach before his suspension begins April 1. I don't understand this, they've already screwed the franchise tremendously; they really want to turn it into a media circus for a year instead of just turning the team over to coordinators?

Payton has a former HC at DC, a potential HC at OC, and an up and comer at QB coach.

Maybe he's just trying not to lose his job. If I was the owner, I would consider replacing Loomis, firing Payton, put the OC as HC and promoting the QB coach to OC. Just clean house.

His speech didn't sound too unusual from anything I heard in high school, two of my assistant coaches were pretty hyped up during the season. Williams started getting weird when he was calling out specific players and where to injure them. No bueno.
