I agree with you, but the NCAA has never been reasonable.

These sanctions and the book being thrown at USC was pretty reasonable. They've been buying players and cheating to build their teams for a while. You could say lots of schools do but I feel like USC has gone above and beyond in the process.

Lane Kiffin, Los Angeles and USC can all suck it.

In regards to players transferring and kids qualifying, they have no precedent.

They do whatever in the hell they want to do. It's bush league.

Unprecedented? Nothing from the NCAA is unprecedented. The death penalty has even been enforced previously.

Can't believe I had to explain that.

Ok nobody asked for you to explain anything or even for your two cents in the first place. This was longest investigation in the history of the NCAA. This is one of only 6 times that the NCAA has issued a bowl ban. This is the hardest penalties ever given for rewards involving a non-booster or university employee. So, there is plenty of room for confusion and doubt about possible sanctions for incoming recruits as well as plenty of precedent with this ruling..hence the long investigation. So, instead of patrolling the threads and correcting everyone with your smart a$$ comments, why don't you spend that time doing some research so you don't look like such an idiot in the future.

Rant rating of 6.5, could have used more big words to discuss lack of education but solid atleast. But from my experience Sab has right much more than wrong.

there's been rumors ever since signing day that the reason he waited to committ to sc is because he wasn't sure he'd qualify.

Ouch for Kiffy. Regardless if true no one wants rumors about recruits changing plans. Heck look at BB situation around here.

When asked about his status with USC, Henderson said: "I don't want to talk about that."
Walters reports that "a little birdie" told him that Henderson was assured by Lane Kiffin that NCAA sanctions would not be severe.

Were there rumors of that too? I thought it was about the sanctions and hadn't heard any rumors about qualifying. Not saying there weren't any, just saying I haven't heard any of them.

On a related note, I know we weren't in his top three, but is there any shot we even go after him if he goes the JuCo route?

the rumor at the time was that the sanctions argument was a smoke screen.
