Upcoming Pricing Changes for 2024 Football Season Tickets

As Tennessee Athletics continues to lead the way in college sports through modernizing Neyland Stadium and the gameday experience, an updated pricing model will be implemented for the 2024 season. In an effort to proactively communicate, we wanted to alert all season ticket holders of this change well in advance of the 2024 season.

As Vol Nation continues to see earlier renewal periods, this strategy gives each fan a longer timeline for payment plans. We want to communicate any changes well in advance to help you prepare for every upcoming season in Neyland Stadium.

From a recent benchmarking study against peers throughout the country, on average, Tennessee remained in a position to be outpaced by those schools in ticket cost comparison. In some instances, Tennessee was 43% lower than SEC competition. Implementation of an updated model works to close the gap between Tennessee and several of its peers (Texas, Oklahoma, Florida and Alabama) from a championship resource standpoint.

The updated Tennessee Football season ticket pricing model continues to offer affordable options for families and new Tennessee fans to experience the unmatched pageantry of gameday on Rocky Top. It also serves to ensure fans seated in the same section of Neyland Stadium all will be paying the same, fair amount.

Construction continues around Neyland Stadium to offer fans an unrivaled experience. The following upgrades are completed or scheduled to be completed:
  • Two new videoboards on north and south ends of stadium (2022 season)
  • WiFi throughout the stadium (mid-2023 season)
  • Expanded south endzone concourse (2024 season)
  • Concessions & restroom upgrades in the south end zone (2024 season)

17% increase for me. Also, the $450 price does not include sales or Knoxville city tax either. The real price is $511.88 + donation.

Had a feeling this would happen soon (really in 2025) with the SEC potentially going to 9 games, and I knew the donation change made last yr wouldn't last.

Does priority rank for parking purposes include entirety of payment or just the donated portion? I.e. I’ll spend $5000 on 2024 season tix. Does that put me in priority 2 now? Or do they exclude the actual ticket price out of that.

Keeping up with the Joneses is one thing, but keeping up with Texas? Gonna have to raise prices and donation requirements every year - in perpetuity. There's some part of me that is a little aghast thinking about wringing Vol fans dry to try to keep up with them and their donor network.

Look at some other seats. Mine are $1200 going to $1500. That’s a 25% increase.
I did, mine are going up $300 a seat also. The highest increases appear to be in the more premium seating, not the lower end. I mentioned those less expensive levels as I was sure there would be much handwringing over the children whose parents' could allegedly no longer afford to bring their kids to any UT ball game

Consider the current annual inflation rate is about 6 to 7% and with zero indication that it is going to drop significantly anytime soon. Should UTAD eat the additional cost of living and doing business in the US? And what did anyone expect once all this year's allotment sold out as quickly as it did? Any product that is in demand and in limited supply is bound to increase in price.

In the end , it's a business and will change pricing based on market forces and to match competitors.

I would expect an increase going forward on an annual basis. cost more each year to run an athletic department.
