Season ticket price increases

For those who DON'T understand.. I'll clarify. Apparently, there must have been some concession vendors in Neyland that unscrupulously gouged unsuspecting fans (most likely under the visitors seats) who charged more than advertised. Every game, not only was it in the program, but pregame, was spoken over the PA system. It morphed into one of those things that was so familiar, you anticipated the announcement and eventually, the crowd chanted along with the PA system. "Please pay these prices and (strong emphasis) PAY NO MORE. Here is a screen snap of an old program from early '80s.

I miss hearing Bobby Denton.....wish they would pay a tribute to him and play some of his standard recordings

Checked with ticket office this morning and my 2 tickets in D going up $300 each or a total of $600 for a 25% increase. This is $1200 each to $1500 each.

17% increase for me. Also, the $450 price does not include sales or Knoxville city tax either. The real price is $511.88 + donation.

Had a feeling this would happen soon (really in 2025) with the SEC potentially going to 9 games, and I knew the donation change made last yr wouldn't last.

Yes, all the SEC universities need the extra money just to scrape by. They’re only going to get TV money that will just barely be enough to pay for the electricity.

Just curious, when do season tickets generally go on sale for new buyers?

I wouldn’t expect to have a large number of season tickets available per my rep. I am looking to go from 2 tickets to 4 tickets and he told me he didn’t think it would be possible.

I know I can figure this out myself just asking current people.

We bought tickets for the Texas A&M game for $230/ticket.

I'm looking at this and see contributions and ticket fee.

Is the contribution is a tax and/or business write off?

Does the $450 cover all tickets for the upcoming home games?

Thanks, I will hang up and listen...

Thanks, I figured that was going to be the answer. Great home schedule next season.

I purchased mine back at the end of September so I am confused. I'm assuming the increase was there but didn't notice.

I've never done season tickets but I'm curious. What would be the all in cost to get 5 tickets on the West sideline, in the dry, between the 20s, and one G10 parking pass?

Those tickets are either $1500 or $2500 a piece depending on the section. Sections S, R, W, and V are $1500. T and U are $2500.IMG_0148.png

The annual seat contributions are not tax deductible. They used to be but a new IRS ruling 6-7 years ago changed that. Yes, the $450 ticket cost is for all home games.

We have four in the upper level and our all-in cost this year, including taxes & fees, was just under $2,300. Next year we will pay $200 more with the price increase.
