My sons senior year this year then off to college. I’ll be giving up some of mine on the 50 if not all and keep a couple in X1 and a couple of the ones on 50 for clients and a few big games I want to go to and staying at home for the rest.

If you do indeed decide to give them up please email me volsfanatic7@yahoo.com We are looking for some really good seats next year.

It will rise to $3000 for 2 tickets in our section. That's a tough pill to swallow. Going to be a hard decision.

Mine went up $50 a seat. This is why I’ve bought in the nosebleeds.
We all knew that when they did their price “restructuring”, that was their way of getting people out of their locked in cheap donations so they could eventually raise prices at will. I mean I’m good with it because my seats are cheap, but for people that don’t renew because of these increases, there is someone right behind you in line waiting to snatch them up. It’s also part of the “price” (pun intended) of being good again and expanding facilities.

We sucked for so long you really think they could keep up with everyone else. Absolutely not!!!

We now have things going in the right direction pay the price or not it’s up to you.

If everybody steps back and thinks about it, the increases are actually pretty cheap for all of the necessary upgrades in the pipeline! How many decades have we all been clamoring for upgrades to Neyland? Also, can you imagine what an engineering nightmare it is to rip out all of the south hall, and other filled in areas underneath the stadium? It was not originally designed for those things. Think about cinder block, reinforced concrete, asbestos, lead paint, and last, but not least mold remediation.

Please pay these prices and PAY NO MORE. (that is lost on the younger crowd)
For those who DON'T understand.. I'll clarify. Apparently, there must have been some concession vendors in Neyland that unscrupulously gouged unsuspecting fans (most likely under the visitors seats) who charged more than advertised. Every game, not only was it in the program, but pregame, was spoken over the PA system. It morphed into one of those things that was so familiar, you anticipated the announcement and eventually, the crowd chanted along with the PA system. "Please pay these prices and (strong emphasis) PAY NO MORE. Here is a screen snap of an old program from early '80s.

It’s not surprising. Although I won’t expect the demand to be the same if we have a disappointing 2023.

ticket prices and donations do not go towards facility upgrades. that is all raised money through other donation avenues or loans. Ticket/donations are part of operations budget for athletic department, not improvements to facilities.

The ”Titan” says worrying about what could go wrong is for sissies.

Welcome to America. Everything goes up except wages. 1 really good season doesn’t warrant a 30% increase in price for some of us. Getting to the point it’s worth it just to stay at home in the comfort of your living room honestly.
