Seattle City Council moves to abolish Police Department!

Seattle is Running Out Of Space for DEAD BODIES because Fentanyl is Killing so many people - and surge capacity is on standby, health officials warn

The drug epidemic in Washington state is so bad that some local coroner's offices are at capacity or have nearly run out of space for the bodies of those who have died from overdoses.

According to officials with the King County Medical Examiner's Office, the department is struggling to keep up with the number of incoming bodies as the fentanyl crisis continues and worsens.

'A key indication of just how bad things are at the end of 2022 and likely to get worse [in] 2023, the medical examiner's office is now struggling with the issue of storing bodies because the fentanyl-related death toll continues to climb,' Seattle-King County Public Health Director Dr. Faisal Khan recently said.

Officials raised alarms back in October when they reported more than 700 overdose deaths in the first 10 months of the year, more than all of 2021

Mail Fail! Seattle's out-of-control Crime and Drug problem in Democrat-controlled city have forced USPS to Pause Deliveries to an Entire Zip Code this month

Out-of-control crime in the Democrat-run city of Seattle forced the United States Postal Service (USPS) to pause deliveries to an entire zip code for a week.

Around 900 residents in the 98118 zip code did not receive their mail as delivery services were halted due to mail theft and 'equipment security concerns'.

They were told to pick up their mail from the local post office and stood in long queues of up to an hour while delivery services were paused for a week before UPS lifted the ban on Tuesday.

Thieves had stolen a master key which is used by the USPS to open collection boxes, cluster box units and outdoor parcel lockers.

It comes as Seattle continues to experience rampant crime, drug issues and battles huge rates of homelessness.

As Fentanyl Crisis Wreaks Havoc On Blue City, Mayor Fights For More Food Trucks

As downtown Seattle struggles with an ongoing fentanyl crisis, Democratic Mayor Bruce Harrell’s downtown revitalization plan emphasizes cleaning services and an expansion of food trucks, according to local outlet KOMO News.

Local business leaders have stressed the need for the city to crack down on drug possession downtown, but while the plan included the opening of an alternative crisis care clinic next year, it did not directly address the issue of fentanyl use, according to KOMO News. The plan will, however, waive fees for food truck operators, expand lighting and cleaning services and update several zoning regulations.

Retired Seattle cop unloads on 'spineless mayor' and 'extremist' city council in brutal resignation letter

A now-retired Seattle police officer unleashed 23 years of pent-up frustration with police and city leaders in an "unfiltered, raw, and unapologetic" resignation letter.

Lt. Jessica Taylor, formerly of the Seattle Police Department, retired on Aug. 1. However, instead of filling out the standard exit interview form, she wrote a scathing letter in which she lambasted Police Chief Adrian Diaz, Mayor Bruce Harrell and the Seattle City Council for allowing the city to descend into "anarchy & chaos."

Taylor, who went public with her 15-page tirade Tuesday on "The Jason Rantz Show" on KTTH, accused the police department of being "a breeding ground of lies, deceit, favoritism, and rampant corruption."

Blue State's $143 Million Homeless Program got less than a thousand people housed. Now governor wants more

'You can’t do this with zero dollars': Washington Gov. Jay Inslee says state needs more money to clear roadside homeless camps

An initiative to remove homeless camps from roadways needs more money to continue next year, according to Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, after burning through $143 million in a little over a year.

Inslee's statewide Rights-of-Way Safety Initiative began in June 2022 with the goal of removing homeless camps from state property near roads and offering housing to the people living in the camps.

Washington has spent more than $143 million on sweeping camps, funding housing and other costs from the initiative so far, according to Washington State Department of Commerce data.

About 1,300 people were swept from roadside camps as of July 31, with roughly 430 of those rejecting help getting into temporary or permanent shelter. That means it took $165,000 per person to clear the camps and house 870 people.

I would think a couple hundred dollars worth of diesel and a good dozer could fix it up pretty quick, but what do I know.

Washington gas station cashier is Brutally Attacked as five others rob her store of cigarettes and cash: Cops hunt for six teen suspects who were driving stolen Kia and Hyundai cars

A female gas station cashier in Washington state had no time to react amid an onslaught of punches and kicks to the face and head during a violent robbery.

Leah Johnston was attacked by six suspects, some thought to be just teenagers, while working at Friendly Normandy Market in Normandy Park on September 15.

The gang piled cigarettes and candy into their arms and stripped the register of cash before escaping.

'Kids don't seem to fear anything anymore,' Johnston told FOX 13. 'There's like, no repercussions for them the way there used to be.'

The thieves were laughing as they raided the shelves and one of them landed blow after blow on Johnston, even after she cowered on the floor.
