Left LSU-MsSt game after 7 last night & returned to hotel to listen online. 17 innings & 6 hours 43 minutes as players, coaches, umps, fans exhausted. Bulldogs won 6-5. Amazing game! All sorts of records set.
Both teams loaded. Hate to say it, but I think vandie wins if for no other reason than Bulldogs are tired.Realistically, how do you think MSU will fair going forward. Personally I think they have what it takes to beat Vandy. That being said, essentially playing the equivalent of two games in one is going to be physically exhausting for both LSU and MSU.
First for me too. Lots of blame to share, but also another example of "Hoover magic" for LSU.I've never seen a team LOSE a game like that. The pitcher ran to home plate pointing at the ball down the first baseline rather than just going and getting it. The poor catcher didn't seem to get any help but I'm sure everybody was screaming.
Two scored on a wild pitch. Catcher couldn’t find the ball and kicked it farther away. First baseman grabbed it and tried to throw the runner out but had no chance, he threw it wide and allowed the 2nd run.
