SEC Championship: #5 Georgia Bulldogs vs #2 Texas Longhorns (SEC on abc) 4 PM

Breaking news. The playoff committee has now decided to move Alabama and GA to the top two seeds due to Texas holding too much and injuring a defenseless qb.
I have a vision of Greg Sankey sitting on a throne with a pharaoh hat and golden scepter saying: “So let it be written, so let it be done.”

The SEC will not allow Texas to win it in their first year. Somehow the refs will gift UGA this championship. They’ll make the backup QB the hero.
If the SEC were concerned about preventing Texas from winning the conference in their first year, they wouldn’t have given them such an easy schedule.

So if Georgia loses and their qb is injured they should definitely drop below us right? Don’t they take that into consideration

Or will they pity them if they lose and be like “well they didn’t have their qb in the second half so it was expected”.

I think it could be a Tommy John the way his arm was knocked back like while trying to come forward. That has to put a ton of strain on the UCL
It reminds me me of a similar play years ago when we were playing Notre Dame…not much time left in the second quarter, we‘re on our side of the field but decide we should try to score…Notre Dame hits the QB, gets a turnover and scores a TD and QB gets knocked out of the game….sometimes is ok to just run the clock out.

Not according to our fanbase.
