I'm not prepared to call them the next Bama, but they are certainly close. They had a record 15 players drafted last year, and they've just reloaded this year like nothing happened.

Pretty impressive IMO.

Oh, I thought it was because they declared one the winner even though it was tied, but didn’t realize there was some sort of tie breaker event last night that the girl had won. Not entirely sure.

No!. Brian Kelly does not deserve coach of the year award. BAD, bad, bad special teams play. Poor coaching.

I was hoping they would upset georgia but that won't happen. You beat better teams by playing smarter football.

I wonder how many LSU fans just punched the TV.

How many teams return blocked FG’s that go past the LOS? 95% of the situations both teams just walk off the field and leave it.

I think we will. I’m not out on Banks, but I guarantee there are better DB coaches out there. Even if he keeps the Martinez, we have some really good DBs in this recruiting class that will compete for playing time and should see vast improvement in the upperclassmen next season. If not, you have to cut Martinez loose.

Regarding UGA starting a dynasty, they play in the east. They don't play Bama every year. The teams in the east that have traditionally been the best, Florida and TN have struggled for a long time. TN is on the upswing - that should throw a big wrench in the dynasty thing. We were not ready this year, we will be next year.

Because of the divisions they drew LSU in this game when it should have been a game of the two best teams.

The good thing about having an offensive minded head coach is scoring points will always be vital to him. I will never doubt Hype’s ability to put out an offense that will score a bunch to keep us in games. The hope is by year 3, we can have a somewhat experienced defensive group that can start going toe to toe with teams in our league. As long as Hype doesn’t get stubborn with his QB like we’ve seen previous coaches, we will be fine.

Plus, Auburn (their locked opponent from the West) just got Freeze, who beat Saban fairly often.

Which would be probably UGA and UT. IMHO, if UGA came out to play, it would not matter who they played, they would win this game.

I am hoping for OSU to get the 4th seed. That would be a pretty good game.
