SEC Championship In Game Thread

C'mon RS you let :23 ticks run off THEN call to.? MUST go across the middle here and it is four down sit.

well it gonna be another long week, because i already know that the Titans already lost to Indy tomorrow

Only call I question was the run on 2nd and 10. But it had been working for the entire 2nd half.

Do you really think RC deserves the dogging he's getting from Blackledge? The pass could have been better but everytime it hits the receivers hands - it's RC's fault.

Generally ex-QB's dog out receivers :p

Our guys played hard. Too much to over come with halftime defecit, officiating, and our own stupid penalties. The interference against Fellows was the call that beat us.

The only way we were in this game was the run. Too soon to abandon it with 6 minutes to go. Didn't work out but all year I've felt we abandoned the run too soon.

After that start, that was one hell of a last 3 quarters. But we've got to figure some things out on defense. I don't care how banged up or how young you are, giving up 500+ yards 3 weeks in a row is completey unacceptable.

If Tommy's got class - we beat the spread.

I was thinking the same thing. I wouldn't have blamed them one bit if they had snapped it one more time to try and run it up for the sake of the BCS.

well John Thompson and Charlie Strong are available

I'm Darn proud of our VOLS!!!!!!!! No one gave them a chance and they hung in there!

Overall, glad to see we fought in the 2nd half and kept it close.

Agree with GAVol though, gave up way too many big plays on the D - the secondary has been our Achilles heel all year.

Let's hope we get it figured out before we face Texas.

you CANNOT lay off of recievers 12-15 yards, ball snapped ,and then retreat some more. That is just pitiful. You MUST either defend with more bodies OR rush like hell. We did neither. Luke warm, milktoast. Commit to defend or come with rush!

Hopefully, I couldn't handle losing to Texas. I get enough s*** from them already. damn longhorns. They shot themselves in the foot by losing to Oklahoma. Playing rice, north texas, and arkansas (who they beat by 1) in non-conference didn't help their cause either.

We cannot play the way we are. We have to decide to rush or defend. Lay off recievers 12-15 yrds and back up when the ball is snapped? That don't get it.

The refs were giving Auburn a lot of early Christmas presents. Seemed that way everytime we gained momentum.
