SEC East starting awfully.

Vandy had "Anchors Down" on the back of their shirts. I always thought that when a boat is anchored it doesn't go anywhere. I guess that slogan fits them after all.

Also,Derek Mason called himself a "great coach" when comparing himself to the other coaches in the SEC. He got a dose of reality last night. It wouldn't surprise me to see Vandy go 2-10 this year.

We are a handful of games into the season and a lot of people are drawing sweeping conclusions.

At least wait to see your team play

My team playing has nothing to do with the SEC East's overall suckage.

I've been predicting this all offseason.

While I normally agree with this, you don't get curb stomped by a team like Temple and then go on to beat teams competing in the SEC (unless you happen to be Georgia Southern)

None of that is good for us because if they all suck and are unranked even if we beat them it will mean nothing.

Yeah it really hurt Missouri a ton last year when they were ranked in the top 10 and 1 game away from potentially playing FSU for the national title after beating up on a historically bad SEC East.

After losing to a 2-10 Temple team at home, where do you see them getting 2 wins?

I'm gonna go with maybe 2 of UMass, Charleston Southern or Old Dominion.

Helluva gauntlet they're gonna run there.... pretty much the same type schedule they've been playing which led to their unprecedented "success" the last few years..... play the worst OOC in the conference, don't play Alabama, Auburn or LSU from the west, and benefit from an historically weak SEC East.

Vandy and South Carolina both went to a 3-4 defense this season. They look just like we did when we went to a 3-4. If you can't get players enough knowledge as to how to play that defense this is what happens. A QB sits in the pocket and picks you apart.

The real question is who will win the race to the bottom Vandy or KY.

Not sure if serious...

If UK doesn't hang at least 40 points on Vandy, they should just put in for their transfer to the Ohio Valley Conference.
