SEC network sucks!

Being from the greater St. Louis area, I have seen these arrogant Missouri fans a lot. I cannot wait to beat their team for the first time.

Would love to beat Mizzou this year. That's a team we need to start beating on a regular basis if we are to get back to the top.

On the schedule analysis last night, I have the same problem when I look through our schedule. Butch Jones talks about the whole body of work rather than predicting this or that. There are some winnable games in there for us but it's difficult to predict exactly which ones we may win. Hopefully the season will produce 6 or more wins but right now it's tough to say we will beat this team or that team.

I thought the piece on Condredge Holloway was really good. The Artful Dodger was the starting QB when I arrived in Knoxville in '73. At the time, even though I was a fan, I had no clue about Condredge's place in UT history. In my defense, as a college freshman I was somewhat preoccupied with UT coeds and abusing various substances.

I need a new replica jersey this year, and as much as I idolize Peyton Manning, I think I'm going with #7 this year. GBO.

I think they need to upgrade their analyst's factoids they say on the shows. I caught at least three errors in the Tennessee preview show. They said that Worley is a young QB. At one point, they mentioned R. Neal as a member of this years running back squad. Then they mentioned the whole 28 year streak of beating Kentucky. I know I am an orange koolaid aholic and I prefer to look through my orange shaded glasses, but come on, get your facts straight. I do not put much stock into their predictions. Do I think we will have more than 8 wins? Not really. But is it out of the realm that we could possibly upset the sooners, UGA, SCjr, bama, or mizzou? Absolutely not! That is why I love watching college football my friends! I love it when these tard analysts are completely humbled by big upsets. My favorite non Tennessee CFB game ever was when Appalachian State upset the no. 5 ranked Michigan in 2007. The meltdown on ESPN was priceless! Here's to hoping we can shake things up quite a bit in the next few seasons!

Last night was Great!

I also am interested by the The Paul Finebaum Show, it is like a train wreck you just can't look away.

I just fast played the previews of GA, FL and MISS that I'd recorded. Booger just blew past TN as an "automatic" win for Mississippi saying something like, "they're not any good", he also predicted them to be 10-2.

I'm sorry, but it pisses me off to see TN taken so lightly. I can't wait for the stink of Dooley to wear off.

Although we should be taken lightly given our record, it pisses me off that the UGA/USCe games last season are considered a fluke and never brought up as far as progress goes. These guys make broad assumptions based on broad past performances. If we where to beat Ole miss, it would be a "fluke".
So, lets hope every SEC game we play..... becomes a trap game and we pull an upset or more and make Booger say it was a fluke.......6-14 times!

I would rather shave off a homeless man's beard and use it as my own personal loofa than watch Paul Finebaum for 3 hours. I had it on just for background noise this afternoon and I still couldn't handle it.

Not to the extent that bama does. They're rank 95 in SOS. That's pathetic and don't blame that on UT or their conference games. That's little nickie doing his best James franklin imitation and scheduling non conference cupcakes. Yes everybody has a couple of cupcakes as you call em.. Bama has MORE than their share

This just isn't true. I hate Bama and everything about them but this is as hard as their schedule should be. Playing UT and UF from the East in the same season should be the worst case scenario for them but we are terrible and UF is not that good either. WVU wasn't bad when the schedule was made. Travelling to Neyland for a game should not be a "gimme".

An established team? They took advantage of the worst year in the history of the SEC East that is all...and they will be vulnerable on defense. This is one Tenn should win.

Going to disagree; 2010 gets that honor. An 8-4 South Carolina won the east (and got throttled in Atlanta).

At the end of the regular season (pre-conference championship game), the east standings that year looked like this:

South Carolina 8-4
Florida 7-5
Georgia 6-6
Tennessee 6-6
Kentucky 6-6
Vanderbilt 2-10

My wife's family is all from Birmingham, has two bammer alum. none of them respect finebaum and all says he's known as a flip flopping little weasel there. all i know is based off of observations. i respect his time in media. but, he seems he needs a ton of attention like that girl at the party, just ignore her and she goes away. reminds me of dave hooker. just says **** to get a reaction.

You watch Finebaum's show and you get the sense that it's just filling space in the programming until the SEC Network comes up with something better.

I do, anyway.

I think it'll be a staple...it pretty much runs itself...fueled by Bama crank! :w00t:

Exactly. And when you're in the Top 5 preseason 5 years in a row, everyone looks easy compared to you. Part of the reason UTs schedule looks so hard is because of how bad we are/were.
