SEC Ref corruption?

SEC admits mistake at end of Alabama-Arkansas game

Progress I guess, at least they are admitting mistakes. Next step is to admit blatant bias in certain games.

What about when Dan Skipper took two shots to the face and didnt even raise a hand? They called personal fouls on both of them and they offset. Had they got it right, it would have been a critical 15 yrd automatic 1st down and an ejection

TV Teddy is the worst.

Wait, Doug Shows is the worst.

It shouldn't be that big of a deal. That's how it's done in basketball. Guys are regional for the most part and do multiple conferences. Teddy Valentine can be seen doing SEC, ACC and southern B1G games in the matter of a week.

The issue that's arising with that is some believe those guys are doing too many games in a week, too far apart and exhaustion is setting and causing their performance their performance to set in. I'm not sure if they're assigned games or "volunteer" but basically if they can find a flight to the next stop and they can "afford" it (in basketball refs pay their own way out of their earnings from what I've been told) they can go anywhere.

Your coach was 15 yards onto the field at one point. Since this is Bret we're talking about, Arkansas should have been flagged for 14 men on the field.

Ark v Fla in 2009 may have been the worst call ever. There is zero doubt in my mind that game was purposely given to florida.

When 10's of millions of dollars is at stake (betting wise) on a college game, 50 or so thousand to a ref or two to help out is just chump change. I used to think the officials were inept. Lately, I'm leaning more towards the corrupt side.

Wow...

Five years on, still in denial.

I'm not in denial. Y'all beat us fair and square, we had multiple opportunities and blew it. That situation was an opportunity to throw a flag but also one where you could let it go as the refs did. I personally wouldn't have thrown it but we all know there's no way they were calling that on Bama in that situation.

The flag would have been irrelevant. Flag or no flag, the result would have been the same: the game would have been over. No further play would have occurred.

I remember how excited I was that we had caught Florida sleeping and then when the refs started stepping in.. it was like being held up at gun point and having the win stolen right out of our hands.

This is how far Bielema ran on the field to try and get a TO before that Alabama TD

Maybe his personal foul was verbal? We don't know what he was saying to possibly provoke it.
