What a game, y’all. We basically won without Tamari. It’s almost like the refs were intent on taking her out of the game. Rennia got injured. Rae had a terrible first half. KK almost fouled out. So much went wrong, and we still pulled it out.

Hoping we have some left in the tank tomorrow. They had to dig deep to win. At the very least, we’ll have a rested Tamari to battle Boston barring terrible officiating.

Very good defensive team in Ole Miss, but it's ok to be impressed by Ldy Vls hitting 22 of 25 free throws @ 88% clip?
Or maybe Ldy Vls hitting 7 of 10 three pointers @ 70% clip?
Add that with the 45-25 rebounding edge and it made a resilient win.
But, yup, you can't commit 23 TOs and, if you do, you better have some other advantages

This team reminds me of those special teams in the past. No quit in them. Yeah they made some mistakes but gutted it out in the end. I love watching them win or lose. (I hate losing)
SC lives and dies thru Cooke and Boston controlling them is a task. KK needs to beat her down just like last time and someone stop Cooke from driving the lane.

On the other hand we were 7-10 on three's, and 22-25 at the FT line. and got only 10% of the 50/50 calls... and the refs let Ole MIss use saddles on our rebounders with position. Like somebody said back up this thread, worst called game I have witnessed in maybe forever. I will take it and hope we can clean it up for SC... I understand the disbelief of the turnovers, not just the number but the type. Way too many that you worked on in JR High.... Bet the staff has discussed this a time or two this season. Don't have a clue....

Was on the road to Chicago and my reactions watching on the phone weren't great for the driver. Great tough win!! Davis was an AA, 6 games in a row 20 plus. Pretty sure UT needs that 7 in a row facing South Carolina. Excited for the team. Won't even talk the few negatives, a win is a win right now. GLV!

Big plus our bigs should be (somewhat) well rested! Both of them had to sit for a good bit.

Tomorrow's game will come down to how the LVs handle pressure. SC waited until late in the game to press the LVs and starting generating TOs. That has been the teams Achilles' heel all season.

Ole Miss made some solid defensive plays but the Lvs did need to more locked in and focused and avoiding the lazy pass or anticipating players jumping pass lanes. If they do that, I think they can win, particularly if Key has a bounce back game.

The refs have to be worked, especially when they are obviously calling it with bias,,,,there were several calls where I would have said, "Hey _name__ at least let the action happen before you blow the whistle,,,that was called in anticipation and anyone watching it could see that"....this is not a phrase that would get you T'd,,but would leave an impression on most refs

She has got to defend her players against this or they will feel they are alone out there,

We just won against a team that "felt they had a chance to beat us" even though they were ranked way under us,,,props to their coach,,,she had them on cloud 10

I have to agree, may be the worst called game I've ever seen. Refs get a "F".
