I don't think we play well back to back starters have to play to many minutes no bench to lighten the load. We only have 8 players we trust to play in these games and one of those is like for five minutes.

We don't look like a team that will do well in a tournament setting. Too inconsistent in too many ways.

We can beat anyone on a given night. But stringing together wins against good teams is another matter.

It's the depth issue. Kellie has got to play Darby and Emily some,and salary.

Yeah. Everyone has a mild to moderate injury at this point as well. It’s been a rough year. We need some depth in a bad way. The kind of play Kellie prefers would work a lot better if we had about 9 people who could contribute on any given night.

TN needs to up their recruiting or we will remain only a past foe that occasionally beats one of these teams... question is...did we allow the brand to fall too far after Pat left.

That's on Lacy. Thought for sure we would get Jersey because of the relationship she had built with her. She commits to the hogs.

Yes we need to up the recruiting but in games like this (even when the refs are clearly not good) you have to give it everything you got.

We are missing a few "dogs" we are far too nice. When we get a few players that's gonna put you on your ass and not tolerate the ********, that's when things will change.

The smallest player on the floor for our team (Walker) played with the most heart today. We need more like her

Just stop with the blaming the refs and the one-sided crowd. SC came to play and was full of energy from the get-go. Tenn., as usual, just seem so lackadaisical and slow. The crowd matched SC's energy and play.

I am with you.... sure the officials suck, and in general they do all over womens basketball.... but to say the refs have it in for our team is a stretch.... i wish we wouldn't be so lightning quick to exclaim what about this call or that call.... i think even the players think that at times.... the game these past 2 weeks i forget the exact game... but when our gal went up for the shot at end of game and it was a no call.... our player had arms in the air like "what that is not a foul?" and the official was dee kantner one of the few good officials in the game.

The hogs are also her state school, can't fault Lacy for that, especially when Lacy was selling Jersey on Arkansas program before coming to ours

Was at a Men's meeting and fish fry so I missed the game. Sounds like we didn't shoot well and SC played really well. We all knew the depth difference Sounds like it played a big role. Any insight please let me know. In CHRIST Alone

You mean players like Brigette Gordon, Patricia Roberts, Daedra Charles, Glory Johnson, Meighan Simmons, Dena Head, Michelle Marciniak, Semeka Randall, to say nothing of Holdsclaw and Catchings and Lawson and Warlick and Parker. Not one of them would have backed down from aggressive play, refs or no refs. Recruit a few of those personalities and we'll be back competing for championships.

Our players get called for touch fouls. We actually fouled someone hard our players would get ejected from the game. I have complained about the refs in games we have won and lost.

I have been in games like this,,,we get touch fouls and they get assault and battery free passes...

In one game, I call timeout, pull my girls over and tell them,,,every foul from this point forward is to be a "Jordan Rules foul"....Did this in one game and after we hard-fouled a couple of times the ref came over to me and said, "Coach, you need to back your down"...I told him, "They are just playing the type of game you are reffing,,, you want them to change their game, change yours...we're done"..." I turned my back on him and walked to my bench and waved to my girls and said, "continue"....we got the next 3 calls and the whole game changed

I didn't get to watch game but read a quick summary that Lady Vols were taken out of game in first period by officials. Was it that bad and seeing we were led in scoring by Walker and Horston with 11 was Davis and Burell just off or what?

Football and rugby are collision sports. Basketball and baseball are contact sports. When it comes to contact sports you just cannot find a way to win consistently if you can't play physically straight up with your opponents.

Just gets the turnovers down and shoot at a decent percentage and the girls can play with most teams. Hopefully, we will get consistent in the tourney and surprise some people.

Sun down, yellow moon, that was one ugly game by us.

This game showed how we need a strong bench to take the next step...
First time this season, Thelma and Louise, were both off in the same game...
Horston has improved in many areas, but does slip back to the old ways at the most inappropriate times....

The girls gave it their best, and for that, I thank them.

No crime in losing to 2nd ranked South Carolina. Just like no crime in splitting season series w Ky on men's side. Just....disappointing is all.

She looked a lot faster than earlier in the season, but still looks lost as to how to position herself a lot of the time.

She just wasn't very productive in this game. After all of the players who got minutes during the season who will never really help us, Emily could have used them more because she will be able to help us at some point.

She has a perfect build to do exactly what you say if she could get a feel for the game and it would slow down for her. Getting your first significant minutes against a top five team in a high pace game like this one is not conducive to getting good production.
