The start of the 2nd half will show us if this team has taken any steps forward. They could very easily just go out there and lay down in the 2nd as they have in the past. I'm hoping they claw back in, it shouldn't be that hard considering how they played in the first.

As for the officiating, I guess just foul harder. Maybe Bruce can get a technical. The officiating isn't why we are losing, it doesn't help but it's not the reason.

Are you seriously even watching this game? I'll rattle off some brilliant officiating for you:

Every time we take it in the paint we get manhandled by cousins. Chism had 3 guys on him, lost his headband, got reached twice, and no call.

JP was dribbling in open court and Cousins slapped his wrist right in front of the official, no call. TO to Kentucky

Brian Williams was rebounding, Cousins went over the back. No call, Kentucky took that rebound from him.

Every other time John Wall drives he walks. It was finally called once this game, but it continues to happen. This is a recurring problem in every single game Kentucky plays.

Somebody said it earlier...When the Vols are in a game where they think they are getting screwed they boo-hoo and worry more about the refs.....

They can still win this game, they just got to hit some shots and play defense....They hit their lay-ups and free throws they are either ahead or it's real close....

yeah but considering we were going into the last month supposed to be like what a 6, 7, or 8? I'd gladly take a 4 seed to that

I mean yeah it's a little disappointing, but it really shouldnt be that much

Now, I will say that it does bring up the possible, eventual irony of being stuck playing kansas again

The whole refs screwing us over gets kinda old. We have to make shots and play through it. It's not like UT didn't know that UK plays this way.
