Seranno Hired By Vols

Still not thrilled about the degree thing.

Simcox coaching third is always potential for fun.

Wanted Holbrook, but it's obvious who UT wanted.

It is Hyams, so we'll see.

Holbrook looked like a good hire BUT I prefer Serrano.
Remember, there is probably a reason that Holbrook has been an assistant for 18 years. He could have been hired and turned out to be another Raleigh and then us be required to pay another exit salary.

Prefer a guy with HC experience rather than an "offensive coordinator". Why they just didn't say hitting coach is beyond me?

Good luck, Dave. and the capster can pound sand.

I hope that he is successful, having a competitive baseball program to route for this time of year would be a lot of fun and a welcome change.

Great hire. I hope they put something saying he will work on his degree while he's here or something to that effect. It would look better for the university. But this is an excellent hire in terms of baseball.

Why does his degree matter if he wins games I do not care if he has a G.E.D.
