Serious question for GOPers

I am not a Republican. I've never voted for a Republican Presidential candidate.

I WOULD vote for Paul. I would consider Romney. I would never vote for Palin. Make of that whatever you'd like.

Specifically, where is he wrong on foreign policy?

If you take away his stance on Iraq/Afghanistan, where is he wrong?

We've been doing the same things since the cold war, maybe try the foreign policy philosophies of the founding fathers?

Regardless, of what you think of his foreign policy leanings, he is so right on economic policy and we are in such a bad bind right now, it's really time we try someone with an Austrian leaning instead of a Keynesian. We can't keep printing money and borrowing from our enemies to finance our lifestyle, it's going to take someone with a solid understanding of economics to right the ship, and Palin ain't it.

This country's attacks from the inside out are more of an immediate danger than the attacks from the outside in, imo. We are getting eatten alive with socialism and it seems obvious to me that we need to take control of this country. What good does it do to fight terrorism in caves in Afghanistan if all we are doing is allowing the terrorists here in America to run us in the ground?

By leftist standards, it's quite simple. You are a sexist who hates Mormons.

I'm fascinated by the support that Romney seems to have with mainstream party line toeing Republicans, what has he done that makes him so agreeable? What are his ideas that will save the country?

I'm not a republican....I would vote for him purely based on economics and leadership. No chance in the world I vote for a dumb party shrill like palin. The democrats will put her counterpart out there as well who will be equally as annoying with their amplification of the party line.

If Palin were to get the nomination in 2012 American Politics would be over as we know it. Having to decide between Palin and Obama would probably drive me away from the polls for the first time since I was 18.

I actually adore Mormons, even though I am an atheist. They practice what they preach at a higher level than most, and are American originals. What's not to like?

But ya, I totally hate stupid women. They are an insult to the rest of women.

I would have to move to Canada.

What did he do in Mass. that gives you so much confidence in his fiscal policy?

If Palin and Obama end up being our two presidential candidates I will have given up all hope and concede this country is indeed on the fast track to complete idiocy.

I think Romney is attractive because so many believe that he is electable. He's a sharp guy, no doubt. Ironically, he might have broader appeal outside of the primary than he would in the primary, at least with those who think his Mormonism is an obstacle to their support.

I like Ron Paul because he's honest. I don't think I could vote for him because some of his common sense approach is just overly simplistic for the world as it exists today and assumes too much about what motivates everyone else out there (their own economic self interest). But you have to give the guy credit for having some thought out principles and sticking to them, wherever they might lead in terms of actual policy.

If I could have Ron Paul with his domestic policy but without his foreign policy views, I would vote for him in a second. He stands no chance of getting the nomination, thank god.

paul's a nutjob and most of the country still sees mormonism as a bit of a cult. palin isn't even worth talking about. i fully expect a wildcard candidate.
