I would like to apologize for this post a year ago. It's clear that Holly was only successful because of the players left from Pat. When you've been coached by a legend, i guess that sticks with you. It's clear, Holly is the problem. Very disappointing as a Lady Vol fan. I'm officially off the Holly train and It's time for her to go. I doubt I'm the only whose perspective has changed.

Let me get this straight: some of you are upset with the fan base?

I have been a Tennessee fan most of my life and it breaks my heart to see the Lady Vols look so pathetic on the court.
There is no excuse for what I have seen this season. Many fans are leaving before the games are over. The program has always been great. No we have not won a championship every year and we do not expect to. Everyone I know has supported Holly and the team through some rough times but this situation is very bad.

We have signed no recruits for next year, we have many injuries every year and our players do not know what to do. They are young smart women and they deserve a coach that can help them improve their game.

This is not on the fan base! This is about doing the right thing and saving a great program. You better believe that something needs to change.

I will always be a fan but I cannot stand by and let some people call upset fans all kinds of names and tell us to just go along with the mess we see each game.

Enough is enough!!

TN has 30 wins and in an elite 8. The entire sports world sees how great a job holly has done. Your vitriolic hate saddens me and it's a disgrace to our program, to our school, and to Pat Summit and the legacy she built.

If ANY other women's coach took their team to a 30-5 record and elite 8 appearance the same year they lost three key players.. including their leading scoring and leading rebounder in Harrison, they'd be a National Coach of the Year candidate... Holly will be evaluated with her recruits in the years to come, but now is not the time to bash her.

Mitchell's KY team got knocked out on their home floor by a 7 seed. Oregon State got knocked out on their home floor by 11 seed gonzaga and yet you don't see anyone calling for their coaches to be fired. Why do our fans?

Because we are talking about the Lady Vols who have always and should always be held to a higher standard. This is not Kentucky...

No one has slammed holly and some of her coaching staff more than i have the past few weeks. They need to become one of the top three coaching staff's in the country or be replaced. This is the program that pat built. "the lady vols".
But, making personal attacks on holly warlick only shows everyone reading your posts that you lack knowledge of the game and the cognitive ability to make an intelligent point.
Everything i have ever seen or read about holly warlick tells me she is the kind of person that anyone with a brain would want as a friend.
My complaint is we have a top 25 to top 30 caliber coaching staff that is coaching the number "one" program in the history of women's college basketball.

Respect to you for having the guts to own up to it, although your comments were pretty tame compared to some of the personal attacks that came from other Holly fanatics here (not expecting them to have the courage to follow your lead). We all are disappointed Holly has been such a disaster, and most Lady Vol fans can see it clearly now...

Holly and every LADY Vol Fan of any caliber knew the Bar was High when CPS left. We knew if would be tough. We all get it.
We also get Holly is now and will never get there.
Recruiting has shown that.
And the ones that do come do not get better.
I don't know who should replace her, but the group that wants her to hold on until Tyler can come marching Home are idiots :hi:
