Shampoo-gate (Pelosi Hair Salon)

This place is a little like masks ... they can't see you smile when you say something, so things get misinterpreted sometimes. Time outs are good, but don't go away.

I got so mad last night on here .... Lol, I took an hour break just to settle down.
One of my post (rant) was actually deleted because of the vile stuff I said to someone. Thought I'd get an email saying I was on probation but never got it. I have seen somethings posted by the loony libs that have been really vile lately about other posters & Trump. I'm surprised they haven't been kicked-off the message board for it..

Doesn't really make any difference. If you aren't called a racist on here by Mick, BNHunt, or KTK, something is wrong. I just didn't expect you and Volfanhill to pile on, but VFN's TDS is progressing rapidly. I guess it's the stress of people not eating out. I make it a point not to.
If you haven't been called a racist by all of the liberals on this board you're doing something wrong because that is their go to accusation.

Hey, lack of football will do that to you! I had a friend years ago who used to say she knew when a zinger was coming because she saw the "EFG" before the words came out ... evil and grin and you can figure the middle. Words alone can be dangerous without gestures.

Espn has college football on all day today. I have my TV on now but it's on mute. Listening to music instead.

Ok, so ending a post with “EFG” means the same as blue font, right?

If you grew up in the 50's or 60's we had a phrase that went like this: "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me" Apparently the current crop of little ****** boys never learned that.

Yeah, I saw part of the Marshall game and some of the start of the SMU game just to make sure I had things figured out before we get to real football ... and for a little football fix. I'm at the other house and have internet but no cable - except for some buffering pauses it's working well.

Speaking of the 60s ..... I've been listening to all of the music in that great year of 1967.

Sounds reasonable - maybe we should have a new smiley just for that purpose. I go to the blue font when I'm thinking somebody really might not catch on.

That was one of the few times that I appreciated San Francisco - the music that came from there during that time period. On the downside, I enlisted in the Army in Apr '67, so my opportunity to listen was frequently a little deferred.

The year of my high school graduation and the beginning of my Freshman year at U.T. Good times........... damn good times.

We missed being there together - I started in '64 and left in the spring of '67 (when I was officially off academic and disciplinary probation - decided to leave on good terms), and didn't return until '72.

I simply loved the summer of '72. I still have great memories of that year.

I was just going into my junior year of HS in September of 1967. I was one billy badass for sure.

Oops you were talking 1972 - wasn't a bad year for me either - finally getting back to UT with a new perspective on life.

I remember Ft Benning was hot, Ft Dix was cooler but mosquito infested, and the Army in general wasn't much fun.

Back in 1967 ........Then ......... all of a sudden .......... 1968 came along !!! What a disaster with the riots & stuff.
Smothers Brothers and George Carlin & weed & hippies. Then bang 1969 w/Manson & his family.

George Carlin had a way of putting stuff all back in perspective. You brought up a lot of the things that have made me believe much of our downturn started with the antiwar protests of the 60s - probably even more than the earlier civil rights protests. The antiwar protests grew into just protesting in general - pretty much anti civility, whereas the earlier civil rights protests were more focused. Now we see the merger - one supposed abuse just opens the door for mayhem in general.
