I just don't understand why he wants to even give the time of day to a reporter like that; especially on the day he's introducing a new OC.

He said he wasn’t interested in winning the press conference. That’s fine, you’re coming off the greatest 2 game stretch in school history, you should be able to say we’re clearly moving in the right direction and this is just another step, let me introduce the next OC….but he didn’t do that .

He’ll get that comeuppance if they play anybody decent in a bowl game, and for sure when they come to Knoxville next year. I’m certain there will be a little extra in the Vols tank

He has 1-2 big wins a year and still makes it to an average bowl. He is not a hall of famer, nor a consistent great. He is lucky more than anything. No one will remember Shane Beamer in 100 years. But everyone will remember that night Heupel beat Saban with 100,000 cigars being lit at once.
