It's not tampering unless he is signed is it?

My guess was the first thing you said. Talk has been if hubbs is silent it'll be about the time USA gets back. So if Zo told Hale to wait 2 weeks or so, it could definitely be a joint announcement.

How awesome would that be?!?!

I think maybe he could be trying to sell it it to JW3 or somebody that he could play with those two. Then when that player says he will commit if that happens, Zo snaps his fingers and bang.

Jw3 won't decide till late if things stay as planned, a hubbs/hale announcement in a couple weeks would be plenty big.

Rob Lewis just dropped a bomb on the GQ...
"Obvuously have seen all the chatter here, but in talking with several people today who I would say have knowledge of the situation I can't find any evidence to suggest that matters are anywhere near as far along as some are suggesting.

I had one person tell me today, someone I would consider an impeccable source, that coach Martin hasn't had any conversations with Hale this summer.

I absolutely wouldn't rule out the possibility that something might happen down the road, this is recruiting after all, but I can't find any reason right now to think something is on the verge of happening.

We will continue to do our best to follow things."
