I would rather have Nichols or JW3 than him. If he commits I think Nichols doesn't come because he said he wants to go to a school that doesn't have a ton of people at his position. But I would love to have both.

I just get the feeling that JW3 will disappoint in college.

I think even with Hale we would have the most appealing depth chart of all the teams he's considering.

I do as well. I think he'll be good, but when you think of a 5* top 25 player you envision someone who is probably in the NBA within 2 years, and not sure that'll be the case wih Jw3.

I'm all for the post duo of Nichols and Hale in this class, think those are probably the 2 best posts we are after and both happen to be great kids.

I will reiterate, I don't think a Hale committment turns off Nichols. We still have by far the most appealing front court lack of depth to offer which is something he's very interested with. If anything I think it says more about Jw3 than it does Nichols, I could see this meaning no Jw3.

Shannon said him and his dad are having a sit down today and he will make a decision before too long.

The only silent I think he may have is Hubbs. Nichols is still looking to take visits, and I don't think Jw3 is anywhere near a silent. Now CCM probably feels good enough about guys to be able to see a special class in the making and tell hale that.

Have you talked to Shannon today?

Just once. He's busy with the move in stuff at Christ school. He said coach Martin called him this morning and said he would be busy all day and coach Webster would be in touch with him. And that if Shannon had any news or anything tO let him know.

This kind of came to mind when thinking about his game. 6'8/9 210-220, face up guy, good mid range game, pretty good 3 ball shooter....

Sounds a bit like Tobias, would you say that's an accurate comparison, from a style stand point?

Obviously doubt he's as good, but from a style standpoint.

That's a good comparison. Not super athletic but athletic in his own ways yes.

Yea i put muller on ignore .i agree completely if you can get hale to commit now you must accept it.because waiting till last of year you could get left out,i like hubbs,hale,nichols,and take jw iii and king if he wants to commit.and i also saw that one of the reasons the west tennessee kids are considering ut is so they can play with stokes who is a friend of theirs.i am more excited about basketball recruiting than football this year,gbo

Shannon also told me that Coach Martin is the most down to earth and intelligent coach he's had recruit him. Which excites me.

CCM is getting the attention of guys a lot quicker than I thought he would, I thought itd take much more on court success.

He's an impressive man, and to certain types of people, he absolutely gains the respect of and impresses. I don't know if he'll be able to pull all these talented guys this year...

However, if we have a good year or two, I think between him as a person and the history of success hell have going, his recruiting will be elite. I really think we may have found a gem for our coach, when you think about where the program was a year ago, and now were talking about landing a top 10 class, absolutely unbelievable.
